| Having explored how our ancestors, and the prophets, have
described the nature of world ages, now we will begin to look at the prophecies about the
present, and the near future. As I begin to move into investigating what I believe to be
the relevant predictions about these times, there are a few important points that should
be kept in mind, concerning the difficulty of sorting out, and sequencing this
information. For anyone who has researched this topic at all, they would probably first be
overwhelmed by the shear number of these kinds of predictions. Many of them however, I
have found to be reiterations of the same events. Because of this, I have attempted to use
only those which are the clearest, or provide some new bit of information to the overall
picture. I don’t believe it is necessary to include hundreds of predictions which
essentially say the same thing. Another problem is, that many of the prophecies include details about events to occur in the initial stages, along with those which are to happen in the final more cataclysmic times. Due to the all inclusive nature of these kinds of predictions, it is sometimes difficult to tell which event is to happen when. This has been perhaps the biggest challenge in my presentation, and I believe has also been one of the major reasons for much of the misunderstandings about the prophecies. It is for this reason, I may use the same prophecy in different chapters, in the attempt to sequence all of the events contained in a single reading. There can also be a problem of discerning predicted events which may relate to a previous great destruction, from those that are about a future scenario. In addition, some of the prophecies are about things that may be devastating on a local level, but are actually relatively minor precursors to a greater future event. For example, most people are aware of the most commonly expressed sequence for the end times, which has long been presented in the Christian, and Jewish teachings. There is to be a great war, with a final battle at the field of Armageddon, which will be ended by an act of God, or through the will of the Christ. Even though this story relates to only one aspect of the final situation, a person could tend to believe, that all the cataclysmic prophesies, would have to be about this same final scenario. I hope it will be come evident however, that we have been given a host of information on the last few years of this world age. These include a number of signs which in themselves may be climatic on a global scale. There will also be a number of ramifications to the greater event which is to end last great war. As I discussed in the section on the nature of prophecy, there are two main ways which the prophecies have been given. One is through a spontaneous type of vision, or apparition, during which time, a message is given about the future. These are exemplified by the quatrains of Nostradamus, and apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Those readings of Edgar Cayce, and Paul Solomon however, are responses to specific questions from the followers of these prophets. I believe that most, if not all, of the spontaneous visions of Our Lady, are about the final countdown to the Armageddon event. Nostradamus must have seen these same events as well, and where a quatrain matches those of the Christian format, I have included these. Those readings of Cayce, and Solomon, on the other hand, were given as a reply to a questioning public. Most of the time, the queries were motivated by whether the safety of the questioner was at risk ,or not, during the expected end times. Thus, many of the answers indicate things happening in various places of the world, where these people might live. In some cases, the answers would be expanded to included a more global picture. Sometimes these readings will respond to the inquires with a statement; that nothing will happen with in the lifetime of the persons asking, but eventually there would be changes in the area where the person was living. Many times however, it is unclear whether these changes fit with the end times, or were to take place in a much more distant future. The Solomon ‘Source’ acknowledged this situation by actually stating, that some of the things in his readings, will not happen for many years to come. Thus, we must be careful to distinguish what is to happen when. I believe one way to do this, is to compare the predictions to scientific evidence concerning possible near term events, and their theoretical effects. The problem still remains however, that there is a natural tendency to relate all the predictions to the single great final cataclysm, which just may not be so. It is no help, that many times the readings, or the written records of the prophecies include a number of different circumstances, which sometimes are hard to distinguish. In order to put things in perspective I have attempted to relay the complete story, which I believe starts in 1917 with the appearance of the Virgin Mary at Fatima, and continues through the climax of an Armageddon type of incident. Initially, there are a number of things we are told to watch for. Most of these are not clear cut in your face changes. While a few of these ‘signs’ will be fairly dramatic, most will be more subtle occurrences, or discoveries, that mark a change in understanding of our environment, a gradual increase in climatic intensity, or the state of affairs in different countries, on a socio-economic basis. For the most part, these things are non-consequential for the average person, and would not be obvious, unless one took the time to investigate them. Even then, sometimes you have to ask yourself, if what you should find, was what the prophets were really talking about. Even those initial changes which are of a more physical nature, can leave one wondering. These events often include; a mountain erupting in a far off place, changes in the polar ice caps, a change in the use of words, or a slow temperature rise. Unfortunately, there is nothing truly spectacular about these things either. They are for the most part things which have not exceeded other dramatic events we have lived with, over the last several hundred years. The eruption of Krakatoa, for instance, was probably a greater demonstration of nature than what we may see in the initial transition signs. This is one of the reasons I believe the prophets say, that uncertainty will be there all through the initial phases of the transition times, with regards to whether these are the signs or not. There will be no one there standing next to you, yelling in your ear, "THIS IS A SIGN, THE END IS REALLY HERE'. Although one could say that this is what the prophets are doing, perhaps the problem then is that no one is able to listen. It is said however, that in the last 5 years prior to Armageddon things will start to escalate to the degree, that people will begin to take notice. During these times, the signs will not be so subtle. Still, I believe that many will continue to doubt,. For me, I think there is enough correlation between what has been given, and what has transpired, to make one think twice about the reality of these early stage predictions. Ancient Souls Return Edgar Cayce, Reading 5748-6 7/01/32 EC (Opening statement): 3. At the correct time accurate imaginary lines can be drawn from the opening of the great Pyramid to the second star in the Great Dipper, called Polaris or the North Star. This cruciat {a crusade) indicates it is the system toward which the soul takes it’s flight after having completed its sojourn through this solar system. In October there will be seen the first variation in the position of the polar star in relation to the lines from the Great Pyramid. The dipper is gradually changing, and when this change becomes noticeable - as might be calculated from the Pyramid - there will be the beginning of the change in the races. There will come a greater influx of souls from the Atlantean, Lemurian, La, Ur or Da civilizations. These conditions are indicated in this turn in the journey through the pyramid. My Interpretation This reading is about a change in the nature of the people (souls) who will be entering the physical form, during the time just before the greater changes are to happen. I believe from Cayce’s perspective, what he describes here, will be our first sign, that things are going as planned. We must keep in mind however, that what Cayce describes in this reading may not be obvious, to the casual on looker. To summarize this reading, given in July of 1932; we are told, that in October of the same year, there will be a noticeable deviation of the polar star, which will signal the time when an influx of souls from older civilizations will begin. For the record, the North Star is currently Polaris, which is at the moment, less than one degree off of a direct alignment over the North Pole. If we can assume that the earth’s rotation about its axis has been, and will remain the same as is now, 5000 years ago, the North Star was Thuban (Alpha Draconas). In another 5,500 years it will be Cepheus. The reorientation of the earth’s polar axis to the heavens, which results in this rotating of polar stars, is caused by a wobble in the spin of this planet. Every 26,000 years the earth’s north pole will make a complete circle around what you might call its ‘true’ axis. (Please note, that this theory will not hold true if everything Cayce tells us is true) It has been determined, that the northern air shaft from the King’s Chamber, in the Great Pyramid of Giza, does indeed point in the direction of physical (not magnetic) north. It was also constructed at the proper angulation, such that, it would point at the north star when it was exactly in line with the north pole. If you were inside the pyramid today, and able to look out that shaft, you would be looking in the direction of Polaris. Unfortunately, there is a jog in this shaft, as it approaches the kings chamber from the outer surface of the pyramid, so it is impossible to actually look out of it to the night sky. So, we are left to imagine what we would see. It is currently believed, that the great pyramids were built around 2500 BC or 4500 years ago. At that time, Thuban would have been the North Star. This is assuming that the pyramids were actually built at that time. I believe this is worth additional investigation by someone, because if what Cayce says is true, then the Giza pyramid must have been built at a time when the shaft was pointing directly at a star. This would have to have been either 5500 or 10000 years ago, not 4000 years ago. For the sake of our current concerns, the important point is that this shaft was constructed at an angle, which would point to any star located directly over the geographic North Pole. Even though this shaft had not been cleared at the time of this reading (in 1932, it was not even known, that it continued out to the pyramid’s surface ), Cayce somehow knew, that it would be impossible to look out of it. Thus, he says, that from this opening, an imaginary line could be drawn to the heavens, which would point directly at Polaris. Another intriguing aspect about what Cayce says concerning this ‘view’ of the north star is, that even if we were able to look out of the shaft in the pyramid, since it is very long, and not very big, ones view of the heavens from the bottom of it, would be very restricted. Any line we would draw through it to the sky, would intersect with a very definite point in the heavens. Therefore, the effect would be, that it would intersect with the North Star, for a very short period of time. In other words, because the North Pole makes a secondary procession through the heavens, over a period of 26,000 years, it is never really stationary in relation to the stars. Apparently, at the time of this reading, Polaris was in an exact alignment with the shaft in the pyramid. Thus theoretically, it could be seen through this shaft, and would be at the end of an imaginary line emitted from it. As of October '32 however, Cayce says, that Polaris would be noticeably out of alignment with this opening, and/or line. It must be realized, that because of the size, and length of this shaft, it would not take very much of a movement to do this. The amount could be as little as 1/100th of a degree, or less. At this point, I would like to repeat, that at the time of this reading, nothing was known about the alignment of the northern shaft in the big pyramid at Giza. In the Kings chamber of this pyramid, there are actually two shafts. One points to the south, and is now believed to have pointed at a star in Orion's belt, during the pyramids construction. The other, is the one Cayce talks about, which points to the north. Both of these shafts exit the kings chamber, horizontal to the floor of the structure. Although early on in the archeological investigations of the pyramid, they were probed with metal rods, these rods could not negotiate the bend from the horizontal, to the angle of the shafts towards the stars. If, and where these shafts exited the pyramid was not known. It wasn’t until the 1980’s, that the north shaft was cleared, and penetrated by with a robot TV camera. It was only then, that the angle of inclination was determined to be pointing directly at where the north star would be. Without going any further with this reading, one would have to be at least somewhat impressed by Cayce’s no doubt true understanding, about the nature, and purpose of the northern shaft of the great pyramid. The fact that this part of the reading was essentially confirmed in the 1980’s is, I believe, part of the fulfillment of his other predictions, about our increasing understanding of his readings during the ‘transition’ period. In addition, we have the confirmation of a common tradition amongst many spiritual texts which says, that there is to be an influx of souls entering the physical form at the end of a World Age. As an aside, one is also presented with other possibilities from this reading, about our relationship as souls to the heavens. Could it be, that all souls exit to the North (which I have been told by other sources is the case)? If this is so, then is it coincidence, that certain souls would return as the North Pole moves past Polaris? Could world ages somehow relate to which star is in alignment at the time? I deferred the answers to these questions to another writing. What we are most concerned about here, is whether there was a change of mentality in the children (souls) who were born during, and after W.W.II. I would have to say, that the evidence of the truth of this part of the reading, would be obvious to those who lived through the events of the ‘60’s. It was out of these times, the New Age religious beliefs began to surface. Along with this, came an increasing interest in Eastern philosophy, ancient cultures such as Egypt, Aztecs, Mayans, Easter Island, and Stone Hinge. The epic story of Atlantis, also resurfaced with this quest for knowledge of ancient civilizations. One might also wonder about the alien visitation phenomenon, which surfaced just after W.W.II, and what role it plays in the greater scheme of things. If we can attribute all of these interests as part of the New Age mentality, and we can make a leap of perception to seeing our nature as souls, instead of bodies, then it should not be out of the realm of reason to accept, that a new generation of souls brought with them the desire to re-institute the teachings which were a part of their ancient beliefs. Of those civilizations mentioned by Cayce in this reading, the only two I am familiar with is Atlantis, which most people know about, and Lemuria. The civilization of Lemuria, was a suppose to have existed on a continent somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, during a time well before Atlantis. It too sank beneath the sea in a cataclysmic event, most likely at the end of the great age, which preceded the rise of the Atlantis civilization. Whether it was to have been as technologically advanced as Atlantis is unknown, but it was to have achieved an idealic society which lived in harmony with nature. The details as to where, and when the cultures of La, Ur, and Da. existed are also unknown to me. However, one could suppose, that they were the precursors of Lemura. As of now, archeological finds have included stone tools which have been dated in excess of 500,000 years ago. In this light, it is not out of reason to accept, that there could have been several great civilizations which existed within the last 100,000 years. With an estimated average period of 10,000 years between world ages, at least 10 previous great civilizations could have existed between age ending cataclysms. Looking at the names themselves, one has to see a certain evolution of language, based on their simple two letter structure. In earlier times, no doubt speech was very basic, as compared with what it is today. I sometimes wonder, if the latest crazes in body piercing, and tattoos may be coming from the souls entering from these more ancient cultures. Why Souls Return Personal Experience This reading was verified to me by Kumar, who once told me, that we all come to earth at certain times, for the benefit of our own evolution. He went further on several other occasions, to tell me, that the generations being born during this time, are from past ages. He also confirmed that every soul brings with them, an interest in their previous knowledge. If we are truly facing a new world age, the intensity of this event, will provide the opportunity for a great spiritual boost. In addition, there is the aspect of being able to deal with the circumstances, of these times. A number of greater souls, from previous ages, would most likely be here, to provide some stability during the coming events. I believe they would be a part of instigating those things necessary, to preserve crucial aspects of our culture. In The Last Period Nostradamus, Quatrain III-92 Le monde proche du dernier periode, Saturne encor tard sera de retout: Translat empire devers nation Brodde, L'oeil arrache a Narbon par Autour. Translation The world is approaching the last (vilest, extreme) period Saturn is late yet again, to be seen from his return The empire (sovereignty) is translated towards the nation of Brodde An eye is torn out in Narbon by a Falcon (Falconer). Revised Translation The final times of the world are approaching The return of Saturn will be seen to be late again The empires are translated to the Brodde nations In Narbon an eye is torn out of a Falconer My Interpretation The first line sets the stage for the rest of the verse, concerning the state of affairs leading up to the end of an age. I think it is safe to assume, this is what he meant by the words last period. I believe this period is different from what some interpreters of these verses would have it. This last period is not the time of the obliteration of our planet, but more likely indicates the time several years ahead of a great cataclysm. The last portion of an age, as indicated in other texts, is one of darkness, and extremes, which in addition to the meaning of ‘last’, are included in the definition of dernier. You will recall this, as being similar to the Gita passage, where, 'all beings enter my lower nature at the end of an age’. The word ‘monde’ can mean world, and/or universe, implying, that this effect is to take place on all the different planes of existence. I believe the reference to Saturn in line two, is not about the planet Saturn, but is in reference to Saturn as the Greek god of agriculture. By using this most ancient role of this god this line could mean, that the seasons will change, resulting in a withering of crops. It could also indicate, that the climate changes will not allow for productive farming at all. In the traditional sense, I believe a situation where Saturn is late, would have to mean that spring, or the time for planting was late. I feel the statement; Saturn will be late yet again, could apply not only to this late planting season lasting for a number of years during the final period, but also to the possibility, that this situation is common to all world age ending events. Another indicator in this line, is the word ‘sera’. This is not a currently used French word. It is most times translated to English as ‘will be’ or ‘will be seen’. It is also a derivation of the French word ‘seran’ which means, a flax of inferior quality, and serre which means a hot house, or greenhouse. I believe in this verse, he has created a word, which implies all of the definitions mentioned. Taken in this sense, the Saturn line would infer, that towards the end of the age, the growing seasons will come later. When they do arrive, the crops will be withered because of the climatic extremes (global warming). 1998 was a record year for the average world temperature. In addition, it was the worst year on record for hurricane ferocity, amongst several other forms of natural disasters. Scientists have been documenting the gradual increases heat, and strange weather patterns beginning in the early 1890’s. But to date, the changes have been gradual, with the exception of a rather dramatic increase in weather intensity during the 1990’s. The problem with getting into this is, that we really don’t have enough historic weather data, to know if what we are seeing right now, is any worse than it has been in the last thousand years. The only thing we probably can say for sure is, that man is compounding the more extreme portions of the weather cycles, with the addition of greenhouse gases. We could also say, that if the present trends continue, Saturn may not show up at all. In the third line, Brodde literally means ‘dark skinned or black’. It was sometimes used to refer to the peoples of Africa, in the way we use the phrase of; Africa being the ‘Dark Continent’ today. It could also relate to social decay. As I read this line, apparently, the dominant powers, as the end of the age approaches, begin to shift to the darker skinned peoples. This does not necessarily mean, that these people are of an evil nature, but, as the darker forces of nature begin to emerge, they will be reflected, in the world by those peoples of darker skin. Additionally, Nostradamus used the term ‘translates’ not transfers to this form. This is an interesting use of words, as it would seem to imply, that the transition is not necessarily one of world figures, but one of ‘words’. Perhaps a good example of this, would be dialog on TV. It should be obvious to those who have been around for awhile, that the words being used on TV programs today, would never have been allowed, even 10 years ago. Since in the higher sense, words are power, the more negativity there is in the environment, the more it will reflect in the words which are used. This in turn, will reflect in the shift of ‘power’ to those physical forms which are dark. Thus in addition to words changing, we should also see a shift of power to those countries such as Asia, Africa, India, and the Middle East The last line describes an event, which will probably never be known by the masses. That of a falconer in Narbon, who has his eye torn out by a falcon. As he does quite often, Nostradamus includes in his quatrains, some smaller personal events (the ripples on the larger wave), which may happen around a greater calamity. If we knew this falcon attack had actually happened, we would have another indicator, that the end is approaching. Instead, we will probably have to settle for the symbolic representation of this line. We as the domesticaters of the land, we will not be able to see what is happening, as that which we are attempting to tame, attacks our vision, simply in the coarse of its own natural instincts. The Seventh Rock Nostradamus, Quatrain V-32 Ou tout bon est tout bien Soleil & Lune, Est abondant sa ruine s'approche: Du ciel s'advance vaner ta fortune, En mesme estat que la septiesme roche. Translation Where all is good, all is good, the sun shines and thus the moon The east is abundant as its ruin does approach >From the sky its advance is fanned with the sound of fortune In a mesmerized state before the seventh rock. Revised Translation When all is good, it is good Sunshine and Moon The East is abundant, fanned by the sound of fortune Mean while the destruction of the East approaches from the sky The seventh rock will find them mesmerized with the pursuit of wealth. My Interpretation This is another of several quatrains, where Nostradamus describes the state of affairs in the world, just before a great apocalypse. Here he starts out be saying, that where things are good in the world, they are very good. In general, I believe, that the first part of this quatrain most certainly would apply to the United States, and the European countries at least during the 1990’s. Things have been going exceedingly well in the American economy during the 1990’s. Perhaps this would fit with the meaning of this line. Where things are good (in the United States for instance) they are very good. The curious part of this first line however, is that he relates these good times to Sunshine, and Moon. In addition to an obvious ramification of clear weather conditions, which would permit the sun, and moon to shine, it is likely, that Nostradamus was also referring to the more mystical aspects of these two bodies. A primary indicator of this, is the fact that he would capitalize these two words. I believe that where he does this (many times in his verses he will capitalize words, which are not normally capitalized, as if they were names) to emphasized the higher nature of something. In the occult teachings, the sun represents forces of light, and the moon forces of darkness. This would correspond to the Buddhist notion of Ying, and Yang. The most ideal state from the spiritual standpoint, is to attain a balance of these two forces. When this occurs, it can produce an ideal condition for general growth. I believe it is also possible that Nostradamus has made an even greater observation about the correlation between solar activity, and conditions on earth. As we will see in a reading from Mr. Cayce, varying output of solar radiation can be related to not only weather conditions, but may also impact geophysical changes in the earth’s crust. We could thus take Nostradamus’s use of the word Sunshine (not the word Sun) to represent this aspect of solar emissions. If this is so, then this first line would certainly fit the scenario of what is happening in the world today. Recent studies correlating climatic conditions over the last few decades, clearly show, that beginning in 1990, weather patterns have defiantly become more severe. Initially this was believed to be caused by the effect of global warming, which is blamed on increased pollutants in the air. In the last couple of year, scientists began to notice that these weather conditions might be directly related to solar fare cycles. The last peak of these 11 year cycles was in 1989. This puts the next peak in the middle of the year 2000. We are only now coming to realize the degree to which the sun affects our environment. Could it be, that this has been the case throughout our history? I believe it is possible, that Nostradamus is talking about this relationship between the sun, the moon, and our environment. There is little doubt that living conditions on this planet can be drastically affected by changes in the conditions of these two bodies. Indeed, the increase in solar output we are noticing now, is becoming a great concern to those who are monitoring this situation. As we will see in later predictions, we are told that many of the initial earth changes are related to this phenomena. Recent studies of ice core samples from Greenland’s glacial ice are revealing many periods in the last few thousand years when there were sudden drastic global temperature changes. Could it be our sun is not as consistent as we have supposed it to be? Another compelling aspect about this quatrain, which I believe places it in the current context, is how Nostradamus relates the relationship of prosperity, and Sunshine, to circumstances in the Orient. In the last few years, China (which has also seen good times during the 1990’s) has experienced an economic growth, rivaling Japan in it's hay day of 40 years ago. It has now taken over the Pacific Rim countries, as the primary source of inexpensive quality products. Over the last 50 years, the Asian countries as a whole, have enjoyed a definite increase in abundance. While entering the 20th century rather late, they have made up for lost time, by taking the technology of the west, and making it into products affordable by the masses. In the final line, the word "mesme" poses a bit of a mystery, as no such word appears in any French dictionary I have found. I believe this is because, he was attempting to use the word mesmerized. This word was created in 1775 by Franz Mesmer (note the word is similar to his name - mesme) to describe a condition later to be known as hypnosis. I believe that Nostradamus somehow tuned into the current use of this term in describing a human condition. If I am correct, mesmerized would certainly would apply here to the fixation of the countries of the Orient with the accumulation of wealth. Again, I don’t believe there can be much debate about the people in the east, fitting this description during the present times. Anyone who has had the opportunity to do trade with the Pacific Rim countries, would certainly confirm the almost fanatic way they do business. The accumulation, and maintenance of wealth in these cultures, appears to me to be ingrained in their psyche. In a curious use of words, he seems to imply, that the speed of an approaching rock, is somehow related to the unleashing of the capitalist economy in the east. Or, in another sense, you could say, that the pace of business growth, and/or their fixation on the accumulation of wealth, is similar to a rock's acceleration towards the east. But how does this growth relate to a rock approaching from the sky? Looking at the economic development of the Orient since the Industrial Revolution, one sees the growth in this part of the world has been on a logarithmic curve. At first, they were very slow to catch up with the west, but in recent years, the growth greatly accelerated (10% per year GNP increase is phenomenal). Nostradamus has aptly compared this kind of growth to a falling object, which due to the force of gravity will gain speed as it approaches the ground. I don’t think there should be much question about this quatrain describing a general state of affairs in the east, which is at least similar, to what is going on there today. It could even be said, that this quest for prosperity has been going on in earnest world wide, since the Industrial Revolution, in the late 1800’s. Looking at it from this perspective, we have an even more ominous point to consider when he compares the momentum of this quest for wealth, with the acceleration of the ‘seventh rock’ towards the east. Many interpreters of these verses, have been stymied with regards to what this ‘seventh rock’ could be. What kind of ‘rock’ could move towards the east from the sky, and destroy it? What kind of huge boulder, would be accelerating in the direction of this local for the last 150 years, without anyone knowing about it, while everything appears to be fine? Perhaps it is because the interpreters of the past were not exposed to the recent scientific information, which was highlighted by the collision with Jupiter of Shoemaker Levy 9. It was not until after this event, that anyone actually believed the earth could also be hit by a large object from outer space. Personally, I have not found any other logical explanation, which would fit Nostradamus’s description. A rock from the sky, which has been accelerating towards the east, resulting in its destruction, could only be one thing; and asteroid, or a comet. What else could be accelerating at the same pace as the economic growth of the orient - in a logarithmic scale? This means, that its speed would compound over time. It would start very slowly, then gain speed at an ever increasing rate. This is how a body falling towards the sun would accelerate. This is how any body subject to the forces of gravity gains speed, as it moves towards another object of sufficient size to attract it. I believe this conclusion is further supported by the significance of the number 7, which he assigns to this ‘rock’. As we will see in other prophecies, this number, or the occult qualities of it, are constantly assigned to the great cataclysm which is to end the war at Armageddon. As Nostradamus uses it here, there are actually two possibilities which come to me. The first, relates to the 11 cycles of renewal mentioned in an earlier quatrain. The 7th rock, could be the 7th asteroid, to cause an age ending event. This would mean, that the 4 other cycles of renewal were ended by something else. While this may be a possibility, I believe the more meaningful aspect of this number, has to do with the way he uses it in other verses. In those cases, he appears to be using this number, as a mystical reference to the nature of this kind of event. Everyone knows the number 666 is suppose to be number of the Devil. In a sense, this is true. It represents a master of 6, of the 7 levels of awareness in the three worlds of existence. The number 7, includes the mastery of these levels, plus the wisdom of how to use the powers associated with the lower levels. It is the numerical representation for a person such as Christ. Here, I believe he is using it as an indication of divine intervention. This could be because, a divine hand actually plays a part in causing this event, or, that it will be seen by the masses as such. One thing is for certain, regardless of one’s religious persuasion, if a huge ‘rock’ should strike the earth, those who might survive such an event, would most certainly describe it as the hand of God striking this planet. While some of the prophecies are literal in their description of an event of this nature, many include the spiritual ramifications of it in exactly this way. We are going to see Nostradamus describe it in both ways. I believe there is one last important message in this quatrain, about the nature of the age ending event he describes. We need to ask the question; why does he talk about the pursuit of wealth in the Orient, and not in the west? There can be little question, that the accumulation of wealth actually started in America, and Europe, where it has been steadily intensifying over the years, but he makes no mention of this here. The only reason which seems likely to me for why he would focus on the state of affairs in the Orient, must therefore be, because this is where the ‘seventh rock’ is to strike the earth. The Destruction Of China Or Japan Edgar Cayce, Reading 3976-10 2/08/32 7. Q) What will be the developments in the relations between China and Japan? A) The INTERNATIONAL interference will make for a re-peopling of portions of China, and the ultimate destruction of China or Japan as a nation. My Interpretation In this reading, Cayce could be confirming the previous quatrain of Nostradamus; that China, and Japan, will eventually be destroyed (as a nation). There is some confusion though, as it would appear Mr. Cayce has put his statement about China in a reverse order. It would make more sense to me, that this land is to be re-peopled after its destruction, instead of before it. However, another explanation would be, that what he is talking about here, is not the same as the Nostradamus scenario, but instead, it is about the developments in the orient which were taking place around the time of this reading. In the early 1930’s, the Nationalists, (those who now occupy Taiwan) were in control in China. Japan was invading the northern provinces of China, and Mao was organizing himself in the south. During the next few years, the Americans would provide arms to the Nationalists, the Russians would support Mao, and the Japanese would continue their attempt to conquer the country. This would definitely correspond to the INTERNATIONAL involvement mentioned in this reading. As we all know today, Mao Tse-Tung won out, and installed a communist form of government. The period of this ‘cultural revolution’ was particularly brutal. Millions of people died in the conflicts. In addition, there was essentially a re-peopling, of that country. You might say, a re-everythinging of it i.e.. new government, new type of economy, new clothing style, new spiritual philosophy. The curious part however, is that this restructuring of China, and a later change in governmental structure in Japan, may or may not be defined as a destruction of either of these countries as a nation. Even during the conflict mentioned, both of these countries have maintained defined geological boundaries, independent governments, there own unique language, and physical characteristics. These are the things which would usually define any group of people as a nation. Obviously, the collapse of any country as a nation would have to mean that all of those things which serve to create their identity would be eliminated. In the case of China, for instance, a re-peopling of that country by cultures other than Chinese, a redefinition of geographical boundaries, and a different type of government would have to take place for this country to cease to exist as a nation. This would very possibly be the result of what Nostradamus predicts for this area, although these details are not given to us in the previous quatrain. Still, I cannot escape the similarity of this reading by Mr. Cayce, with the ruin Nostradamus says will come to the Orient. Certainly, if a comet strikes in that area, all life in there will be obliterated. The nations of both China, and Japan, would cease to exist. This would obviously lead to the eventual re-peopling of that area, when things cool down enough to do so. But even this may be only part of the story. As we will see in later predictions from Mr. Cayce, China will be plagued with a number of cataclysmic events which might lead to a re-peopling of this area even before an impact of the ‘seventh rock’. Overlapping Events Edgar Cayce, Reading 1602-3 9/22/39 21. Q) Can a date be given to indicate the beginning of the Aquarian Age? A) This has already been indicated as the period when it should pass, but that is when it begins to affect. It laps over from one to another, as is the natural sources, as he holds to that which has been, which is. As has been indicated, we will begin to understand fully in ‘98. Q) Are there any thoughts along these lines, beyond these, that can be given at this time? A) Holy, Holy is His name! My Interpretation I am writing this line in November ‘98. As of this point, it appears to me, that the pieces of the puzzle are now available, to put together, the real nature of the coming events. When I began my research on this topic, in the late ‘70’s, I found, that many of the predictions I am relaying now, made little, if no sense to me at all. This is one of the reasons, that I first abandoned this project. Now, I am being drawn back to my research, and finding, that much of the veil has been lifted. I hope, that what I am writing here, will be clearly understood by all who should be so inclined to read it. As I have mentioned previously, I believe that much of the confusion surrounding the prophecies, has to do with the multitude of things, which are all going on simultaneously. From the view of the source, these things are all related. As such, when a medium attempts to transfer information about any event, a host of things may come forth with regards to both the physical, and spiritual aspects of future times. In addition, as we attempt to look for the signs, that would confirm the coming of the most dire of circumstances, we may have to look very hard to find them. As Mr. Cayce said several times, the initial physical earth changes will be gradual. Since social changes can be considered relative, it can be difficult, to point at specific occurrences, and say; this is indeed what the prophecy is about. Cayce points out another dilemma in this reading which is, that much of what is to occur is overlapping. Some of it will happen quickly, some more slowly. This is suppose to be especially so, up to the year 1998. As I have also indicated, it is very unlikely, that our scientists would be funded to do research on the areas Mr. Cayce talks about, solely on the basis of investigating his prophecies. Thus, it has been the work of private individuals to confirm his predictions. This is with the exception of situations where for some reason, science has found other causes for delving into these areas. In this sense, it could be considered remarkable in itself, that information has come forth from the scientific community concerning many of the things Cayce has discussed. This should say something about the validity of the readings. The question here is, whether the understanding Cayce talks about in this session, is coming to pass or not. Personally, I have not seen what I would call a general understanding of what the Cayce prophecies are about. While I do believe all the elements are there with which to decipher them, I have not personally seen a presentation that adequately explains them. At least until now. The Right Time, The Wrong Question Edgar Cayce, Reading 416-7 10/7/35 Q) Regarding the general world conditions, it is likely that changes in the earth’s surface in the Mediterranean area will stop Italy’s campaign against Ethiopia? A) Not as THIS particular period. This may EVENTUALLY be a portion of the experience, but not just yet. Q) When is this likely to occur? A) As to times and places and seasons, as it has indeed been indicated in the greater relationships that have been established by the prophets and sages of old - and especially as given by Him, “As to the day and hour, who knoweth? NO ONE, save the Creative Forces.” Tendencies in the hearts and souls of men are such that these may be brought about. For, as indicated through these channels oft, it is not the world, the earth, the environs about it nor the planetary influences, nor the associations or activities, that RULE man. RATHER, does man - by HIS COMPLIANCE with divine law - bring ORDER out of chaos; or, by his DISREGARD of the associations and laws of divine influence, bring chaos and DESTRUCTIVE forces into his experience. For he hath given, “ Thought the heavens and the earth pass away, my WORLD shall NOT pass away!” This oft considered as just a beautiful saying, or something to awe those who have been stirred by some experience. But applying them into the conditions that exist in the affairs of the world and the universe in the present, what HOLDS them - what are the foundations of the earth? The word of the Lord! My Interpretation The person who asked the questions here, has aptly concluded, that the earth changes which Cayce had predicted in readings which took place before this one, were so great, they would had to have affected political, and military situations around the world. Since the earth changes predictions were ‘heard’ to suppose to have occurred during the 1930’s, it would be logical to wonder, if these changes would affect what was going on at that time. As the greater changes were suppose to take place between 1936, and 1938, it would seem unreasonable to ask how these changes were going to effect the Italian conquest of Ethiopia, which was going on during those years. Cayce’s answer is; that earth changes may EVENTUALLY disrupt a military campaign in Ethiopia, but not during the time of the present generation. To repeat, Cayce says here, that this will not occur during the life time of those people living during the 1930’s. Even though we are going to see more questions put to him, which result in answers interpreted as giving dates for the changes to take place in the 1930’s, we are also going to see, where he says, these are not the correct years. I would have to conclude from this apparent contradiction, that the dates which were ‘heard’ originally must have been incorrect. So as we continue, remember that here, he clearly says, that Italy, and Ethiopia will not be affected by any earth changes during his life time, or while those people born in the 1910’s, or 1920’s (that present generation) are living. We might also consider, that if these changes are not to occur during the life of that generation, then they may occur in the life of the following generation. If a generation is assumed exist over the average life span of 65 years, then we can extrapolate, that the major geologic upheavals will not happen until after 1975 to 1985. One thing we know for sure; as of 1999, none of the greater earth changes have taken place. Therefore, we must conclude, that those readings where dates were given, were not heard correctly, and that Cayce affirms this by his immediate response; ‘It will not happen in this period’. What tends to cause some confusion however, is his statement, that such an interruption of an Italian campaign may happen at some future date. This leaves one to wonder if he is talking about something which could happen at the end of this age, or in some much more distant time. Because of this ambiguity, I believe it is probably best not to worry about what he means in this regards. The most important aspect of this reading I believe is, that he refutes the earlier interpretations about when the earth changes are to actually take place. In To The Light A Personal Experience Aside from a confirmation that no dramatic earth changes will happen before the 1970’s, I believe that Mr. Cayce’s response to the second question in the previous reading, needs to be addressed. When pressed for a time when cataclysmic events would affect an Italian campaign in Ethiopia, the answer is, that only the Creator has the capacity to know the exact timing of these things. This is followed by more dialog about the power, and wisdom of the divine. As we also see this kind of response in many other prophecies, I believe it is worth come discussion, as to why this type of answer should come forth. Previously, I have used the example of a wave on the ocean, to represent a future event moving toward its manifestation in the physical world. Another analogy might be more meaningful here. Let’s say we are looking at the future as we might be looking down on the earth, from an altitude of 5,000 feet. At the same time, try to realize that the act of doing this, is more like looking into the sun, to see what is going to happen on earth. In other words, you are looking up at a light, (a very intense light) in order to see things on the earth below you. The energy of the sun, is a good physical representation of the power of the ‘source’. Obviously, if we should change the height of our perspective from 5,000 to 50,000 feet, we will see a larger view of things. Or, as this example would relate to prophecies, we will see the bigger events more clearly, and the smaller ones less clearly from a higher altitude. Returning to the 5,000 foot level, lets say, we look down to see a train moving along about 60 mph. Someone asks you, if a certain vehicle will be able to cross the tracks ahead of the train. From our vantage point, we can see the vehicle, and the train, such that it is obvious the car will make it across before the train gets there. We see the relative speed of the train to the car, and the distance each is from the crossing point. It is easy to judge from this perspective, that the car is about 15 minutes from the crossing, and the train is about an hour away. Now this person asks you, if there is a point, when this same car will be crossing the tracks at the same moment a train arrives. By backing up to a higher vantage point, we see that indeed, the car will cross the tracks, at a time, close to when a train would be there at the same moment. Now they ask you to tell them, exactly when that moment will be. As we look from this higher altitude, we find it is impossible to give this information, because we are too far away to see the exact distances each is away from the potential point of impact. So in order to answer this question I must move closer to scene. This is a process of not only moving down (it feels more like moving up towards the sun) to a level where a clearer view of the crossing site can be seen, but moving forward in time to a specific point. This not only takes more effort to do, but will bring you closer to the sun, in order to get the closer view of the earth. The result is, that you become exposed to a dramatic increase of energy from the sun (source), as you get closer to this information. What happens then is, you start to loose your perspective of the earth, and become immersed in the power of the sun. Your exposure to this power, has the effect of causing you to loose any interest in what is happening on earth at all. There can easily be a leap into divine thought, in which the wonder of God can completely overwhelm you. Speaking from my own experiences with being immersed in this power, my life, and the consequences of earthly happenings were inconsequential, to say the least. To give another example, lets say an individual saw someone throw a valuable coin into a bonfire. Then this person asks, if you could get close enough to the fire, to see if it was really in there. As you comply with this request, at first, you are intent upon looking for the coin amongst the flames. However, as you grow closer, soon, you are overwhelmed by the heat, and jump back from the fire, with only a declaration of how hot it was. As this relates to the prophetic experience, the fire is bliss, knowledge, healing, infinite love, all of those things which we attribute to the nature of God. It can completely consume you. It is very difficult to move into this energy, while maintaining an awareness of what is happening in the physical world. You must also realize, that a prophetic ‘vision’ is not necessarily the experience of ‘seeing’ the event, like you would see with your physical eyes. Even though sometimes part of the process is to see the physical things occurring, whether you do or not, the actual information is transferred through a sense of ‘knowing’. As this knowing is incorporated into the divine mind, as you merge with it, you are pulled into a ‘higher’ sense of things. I believe, that many times, this is what happens to Mr. Cayce, and others, during their contact with the ‘source’ of all future information. As Cayce attempted to draw closer to the source, in order to answer to this second question, he became more immersed in the divine. Because this ‘higher’ understanding is not really suitable to be transferred in words, you see him start to ramble on about higher ideals, and the nature of God, in a way that makes little sense to those who have not experienced this kind of thing. Social Affairs Around The World Edgar Cayce, Reading 3976-15 1/19/34 12. Q) What are the world changes to come this year [1934] physically? A.....There will be the falling away in India of much of the material suffering that has been brought on a troubled people. There will be the reduction of one risen to power in central Europe to naught. The young king son will soon reign. In America in the political forces we see a re-stabilization of the powers of the peoples in their own hands, a breaking up of the rings, the cliques in many places. My Interpretation This reading in 1934, included a virtual menagerie of future situations. Along with what I am showing here about social changes, he also mentions a number of earth changes to look for. In order to alleviate confusion, I have separated what was given here by the topic, and the timing of when these events are most likely to occur. Looking at the complete reading, the first thing to strike me was that the circumstances must have been right for Cayce to spew forth with a quantity of information about the future. This is not just a casual observance, but from my experience, a very real aspect of connecting to the source. There are certain times when it is easier to access the future than others. As near as I can tell, this has to do with energy cycles. This includes the culmination of what is happening in ones personal life, with the people around them, the general area they live, and so forth on to cycles in the universe. I is my believe that during the time of this interview, things were such that a host of information became available to Mr. Cayce. In spite of these favorable conditions there is still a problem. While the portion of the reading which included the social changes I have included here, appear to answer the question about what is to happen in 1934, all of the physical changes he talks about in other parts of this reading definitely do not occur in 1934. This leads one to wonder, why in spite of the question requesting information about what is to happen in that specific year, he saw fit to answer about things which occur decades later? Another quandary is, why when the question seems to ask about physical changes, does the response include a number of things which appear to be social in nature? It could be that the answers were once again influenced by a higher perspective. In this sense you could say, that the actions of people are physical in nature. From the perspective of the ‘source’, what people do oft times reflects what is going on in every level of the environment. Or, perhaps it is the nature of the question; world changes to come this year, which can open the door to many possibilities. Thus, the information relayed included all kinds of current events. As we continue we may find that all of these reasons apply. With this in mind, let’s look more closely at what Cayce said. Personally, I believe the material suffering of the people of India, only began to be alleviated, in the last 20 years. However, the struggle for independence in that country, was finally becoming a reality, about the time of this reading. I suppose it could be said, that as India appeared to be finally achieving independence, its people were at least going to have the chance, to determine their own well being. With the hope for an independent democratic government in that country, the masses would at last have a chance at sharing the wealth. The young king son is commonly accepted to mean Adolph Hitler. Asked later, where this young king would appear, Cayce’s reply was ‘Germany’. In 1934 Hitler was beginning his campaign to re-arm his country. With his entry into the Rhineland in 1936, Hitler launched his rise to power in central Europe. His quest for world domination was to naught, as 9 years later, Germany lay in ruins. Looking at these comparisons, I think it would be easy to assume, Cayce was talking about Hitler in this reading. His comment on America could also be seen as happening at the time of this reading. After the stock market crash in 1929, there was a major overhaul of the government regulatory commissions, and anti trust laws. No doubt, many power cliques were dissolved, in the wake of this countries economic collapse. I believe, Roosevelt realized, that if the people did not believe in the system, there was no way for the system to work. Making the system work, involved giving more opportunities to the average citizen, instead of the wealthy cliques. So it appears, that these references to India, Europe, and America could be general comments about the state of affairs in those countries, in the period around 1934. But, as I previously mentioned, this reading also included a number of geologic changes which definitely did not apply to 1934 at all. Because of this discrepancy, perhaps we should consider, that the social, and economic conditions he mentions here, are not really about this period either. In order to understand why this could be, let’s again remember, that the people around Mr. Cayce, came to understand him to have predicted the great earth changes before the pole shift, were to take place between the years 1932 to 1936. (I have included these readings in a later chapter which corresponds to the years I believe he actually stated). Therefore, as they continued to ask him about these changes, they would reference those years in their questions. Since the year of this reading, 1934, was right in the middle of the supposed ‘pole shift’ changes, I am certain, that the intent of the question was, to find out what earth changes related to the pole shift, were to happen in that year. As the questioner presumed, that something big would no doubt happen close to the time of this reading, thus they did not think it necessary to mention the year they were talking about in the question. The question simply said; what is to happen in the way of physical changes this year? By not mentioning the year, this apparently opened the door for Mr. Cayce to give a response which applied to things going on in 1934, and information about the pole shift earth changes. Still, it is unfortunate that Cayce could not just tell this person, ‘look, the things you really want to know about, are not going to happen in 1934. So, do you want me to tell you of the earth changes which are on your mind, or to tell you of things to happen in 1934 as your words imply, or do you want me to describe some things which might relate to both times?’ I am afraid that the source doesn’t work this way. Clarifications won’t generally come in a way that the mind can appreciate. I believe Cayce’s response in this reading, was an attempt to answer to both the intent of the question, and the way it was worded. This is why nothing Cayce mentions, can be specifically tied down to have occurred in 1934. For instance, the breaking up of power cliques in American, didn’t take place in just one year. It was a gradual process which occurred all through the depression. Nor, can an increase in prosperity for the populous of India, be dated to any one year. The same thing applies to his comments about what is to happen in Central Europe. While everything he mentions in this reading could possibly be traced to an initial starting point in the early 1930’s, they all have ramifications which extend many years beyond the time of this reading. Another possibility some people have proposed is, that the earth changes which were suppose to happen in the 1930’s, were postponed for some reason. Frankly, I do not believe that this was ever the case. I think we should remember that America was in the middle of the Great Depression at the time of Cayce’s earth changes readings. For the people who were living during those years, it could very well have seemed like the economic collapse in American was a precursor to the end times. There was probably a lot of concern as to whether things were going to get worse, or not. As the ‘source’ sometimes does, it will feed these fears with things which are to be an eventual part of reality, but are not actually a current threat. I have seen this technique used myself, as part of the cleansing process. While it is impossible for the ‘source’ to lie. It is possible to stretch the truth. Since from the perspective of the ‘source’ there is no time, every event is available to use to alleviate the fears, and desires, which bind all souls to this earth. I believe it is these fears, which at least in part, brought out the earth changes readings. It was these same fears, which caused the dates for them to occur, to heard as, ‘32 to 36. Most of his followers have held to these dates for some reason, even in spite of the many times where Cayce attempts to tell them, that none of the age ending physical changes will occur in the 1930’s. At the same time however, he attempts to answer their questions about what is going to happen when these changes do come, regardless of the date included in the question. The people around him during those readings, were simply unable to make the jump to a later time. It was only after 1936, when none of the predicted earth changes took place, that some questions arose about what was going to happen after the year 2000. Cayce’s immediate answer to these queries was, ‘the pole shift’. By the time this came out however, it seemed as though interest in the pole shift was lost. Perhaps this was due to disappointment in the apparent fallacy of these predictions, or the year 2000 was too far away to be interested in. For whatever reason after 1936, there really were not that many questions about the pole shift. Thus we did not get much help in clarifying what was to happen when. For the sake of this reading however, we now know that if the pole shift predictions are going to occur, they must happen after the year 2000. Even if we don’t know exactly when it will be, we could assume that his answer to this question in 1934, would give us information about things which are to occur between that year, and the pole shift. In this light, there is now no question about the general increase in prosperity in India. A change in foreign trade policy in the 1980’s has sparked a good balance of foreign, and domestic investment, for a sustained economic growth. India has recently become the world leader for diamond cutting, and software data input. They are gradually improving their infrastructure, and encouraging partnerships with foreign companies, which has dramatically improved the accessibility of household items to the masses. Their economic growth has been slowly improving over the last 50 years, and I believe it is being built on a solid base, which should result in things getting better for her people as we pass the year 2000. Concerning the state of affairs in America, the major political, and economic changes, have included a dramatic growth in the communications industry. With this improvement has come the ability of people to have more say in the political system. As the news media rushes to fill the voids created with the opening of more channels of communication, more, and more information is becoming available to the populace. As the details of what goes on in the chambers of government becomes exposed, the power magnets who used to lurk in the shadows are now finding it harder to do so. As a result, third party candidates are becoming more viable. This could all be interpreted as the breaking up of old clicks, as it would apply to both the political, and the economic situation leading past the new millennium. As the computer nerds take over Wall Street, a new economic power structure is taking place. As term limits are enforced, the old political clicks are going to be forced out of the system. Perhaps these are the things Cayce is talking about. Now we are left with the ‘the young king son will soon reign’ passage. In 1934, Hitler was already firmly entrenched in his hold over Germany. Since in essence, he was already ‘reigning’, a statement in 1934 that he will soon reign, does not really make much sense. While Cayce’s words, ‘the reduction of one in central Europe to naught’ is applicable to the fate of Hitler at the end of W.W.II, we might consider, that these words came before, the mention of a ‘young king son’ rising to power. This leaves us with the possibility, that he is talking about another leader coming to power in Germany, or perhaps somewhere else in ‘Central Europe’. As of 1998 Germany has been re-united under a democratic system, but is in the firm control of a pacifist political party. The greater concern at the moment is the fate of the European Union. Many believe that the Anti-Christ will emerge as a leader of this organization. As this Union, at least initially is composed of only the countries of Central Europe, there could be some speculation as to whether Cayce is predicting the down fall of this federation. Perhaps it is out of this collapse we will see a new leader arise out of Germany. In any case we might bear in mind, that Cayce does not say anything about this figure being an Anti-Christ. Before 58’ To 98’, And Beyond Edgar Cayce, Reading 378-16 10/29/35 5. (General discussion) In the record chambers there were more ceremonies than in calling the peoples at the finishing of that called the pyramid. For, here those that were trained in the Temple of Sacrifice as well as in the Temple Beautiful were about the sealing of the record chambers. Sacrifice as well as in the Temple Beautiful were about the sealing of the record chambers. For, these were to be kept as had been given by the priests in Atlantis or Poseidia (Temple), when these records of the race, of the developments, of the laws pertaining to One were put in their chambers and to be opened only when there was the returning of those into materiality, or to earth’s experience, when the change was imminent in the earth; which change, we see, begins in ‘58 and ends with the changes wrought in the upheavals and the shifting of the poles, as begins then the reign in ‘98 (as time is counted in the present) of those influences that have been given by many in the records that have been kept of those sojourners in this land of the Semitic Peoples. My Interpretation The first part of this reading concerns the opening of the ‘hall of records’, which are suppose to be hidden somewhere under the right foot of the Sphinx. Both Cayce, and Paul Solomon gave several readings about the discovery of these records. They are to be uncovered around the year 1998. However, this may not be an absolute, because they also say repeatedly, that they will only be found when we are ready to receive them. So, the question remains, will we ever be ready? Since there has been no announcement about the finding of these records to date, I guess this means, we are not ready yet. But here again, there may be some question about defining exactly what Mr. Cayce means. when he is talking about these records. During the 1990’s, several tests were conducted around the Sphinx, using sensitive ultra sound equipment. The test results confirmed, that there was a chamber in the spot designated by Cayce. However, no excavations have been allowed to determine the validity of these tests. Of particular note, was the discovery in 1998 of a passage way about 1/4 mile in front of the Sphinx. This opening was cleared to find a subterranean network of passageways, and chambers which extended down some 150 feet. At the bottom of this underground complex an ornate sarcophagus was found. Unfortunately, this casket was emptied it by grave robbers along with all the other relics which may have been with it. I have seen no information as of yet, which has deciphered the writings on the wall of that tomb, or who was actually buried there. What has attracted the attention of most followers of the developments in this region, is the discovery of two passages which lead out of the bottom chamber. One appears to lead back towards the Sphinx, and the other in the opposite direction. The passage towards the Sphinx is currently in the process of being cleared. Could it lead to the Hall of Records? Perhaps we will soon know if yet another of the Cayce predictions has come true. Even so, there may be another hurdle to cross as to whether what is in the records, or even the discovery of them will be revealed to the public. Besides their value as artifacts to the Egyptian government, there may be a problem in revealing what they contain. From what I can gather from this reading, this may not only have to do with our ability to comprehend the mystical nature of what is in them, but the fact that they may reveal, exactly what is to take place after 1998. Indeed, it may not be the occult knowledge of these records, but the details of an inevitable destruction, which we unprepared for. Even though over the ages, we have been told how the world will suffer a great cleansing, I am sure, that most people would not want to know the exact time such a calamity will occur. They would probably do their best to avoid having to confront this knowledge. If this information is in these records, it may very well be, that no one will want to hear it. In my own experience, I have found, that even with those who are interested in the predictions of the end times, when they are given an exact date for Armageddon, they recoil out of fear, or disbelief. I can understand the disbelief, after being fed so many false dates, with no absolutely unmistakable warning signs to be seen so far, but what if I could prove that the date I give you is correct? At that point there would be a couple of good reasons for fear to set in. The possibility of a fiery death which has been associated with these times, is one of these reasons. Another has to do with what I believe is a fundamental flaw in the church dogmas which relate to the Judgment Day. The precepts of most of those church’s, where the story of Armageddon is preached, say that everyone is a sinner except Christ. Think about it, everyone is a sinner, without hope of redemption, and all the sinners will be purged, or punished on the Judgment Day. Guess what. No one will be left! Does this logic seem a bit twisted to anyone else out there? I certainly hope so! Live by the Beatitudes. As far as I am concerned, they are the Judgment. There is another key point brought out in this reading, which I believe to be important. Cayce has given us a further definition of the transition periods, which lead up to the pole shift. As we continue, we will find these ‘phases’ of the transition to the end of this age, further defined in other predictions. The first period as defined by Mr. Cayce begins around 1930, and continues to 1958. Personally, I believe our first warning about Armageddon came in 1917, with the appearance of the Mother Mary at Fatima. Thus, I am going to say, that this first period of the transition, begins with her messages to the children there, and goes to the year Cayce designates as ‘58. During this time we will see, that while the stage is being set, primarily with the entry of ancient souls from past civilizations, there will be little in the way of physical changes taking place. The second phase of the transition is a 40 year period, where we will see some subtle earth changes begin to occur. This period of ‘58 to ‘98 will include a number of ‘signs’ to look for including; geologic, climate, and social changes. Starting in 1958, the most noticeable changes relative to the predictions, were in the area of social upheavals in America. I believe this was a direct result of the influx of souls mentioned previously by Cayce. As you remember, he said that these souls would come into the world with the start of W.W.II. How can one escape the very fact, that New Age religion was established in that period during the 60’s as these souls reached maturity? There is another aspect of this period which bothers me. I have never heard a satisfactory explanation as to why there are several Biblical references to 40. This number seems to arise particularly during times of great trouble. The flood of Noah was caused by 40 days, and nights of rain. Jesus prayed, and fasted for 40 days, and nights before his crucifixion. The soldiers of Israel marched around Jericho for 40 days, and nights before the walls fell down. Could this 40 year period during the transition, be related to the 40 days before the crucifixion? Something to think about. After this 40 year period, there is to come a more intense time, which Cayce describes as that period when, ‘begins then the reign in ‘98 of those influences as given in the records of the Semitic people of that area’. The influences he mentions here, would have to include all of those things which are a part of the predictions from the religious texts of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim teachings. In fact, it is very interesting that Cayce should use the term Semitic, rather than Biblical, Christian, or Jewish records, especially in light of his Christian orientation. The word Semitic, has come to describe a ‘class’ of people, who descended from those cultures which spoke the Semitic languages, used primarily around the South, and eastern Mediterranean. Thus, this group would include those of Jewish, Arab, and Christian decent who lived in the area of the Middle East. As we continue, I think it is worth remembering Cayce’s use of this term ‘Semitic’. Cayce could probably be called the father of New Age Religion. He was able to incorporate reincarnation, the Egyptian pyramids, and Atlantis into his predominately Christian views. Sometimes I wonder if he realized consciously that some of his readings took on an even broader context. There is only one Source, one Creator. To this ‘Source’, we are all His Children. Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, heathen, pagan, any and all paths lead to only one place. As a people living in a predominately Christian culture, it is easy to loose track of the fact, that the story of Armageddon is also a part of the Islamic texts. This is important because, as we are going to see, there will be a growing role for those of the Islamic faith, in the culmination of the final events leading up to the final great war. Indeed, all of the religions which have manifested in the area of the Middle East, include predictions of extreme weather patterns, disease, geologic upheavals, and wars. They also include the re-emergence of key spiritual figures. We would have to assume then, that with Cayce’s use of the word Semitic, all of these predictions from the various cultures of the Middle East will begin to congeal, as we move forward from 1998 into the new millennium. Thus it is, that this third, and final period before the pole shall include the years from 1998 to 2008. It is during these times that the greater earth changes are to take place. It will be during this time that the foundation for the final confrontation between Israel, and Islam and Christianity will be laid. While Mary seems to say that the final war may be averted, it is my own feeling, that this will not be possible. In the last period, with the onslaught of environmental upheavals, the friction between the tribes of Israel will also build. Out of all of this will come the fulfillment of the traditional prophecies of the Semitic peoples about Armageddon. Apparitions of Jesus and Mary in Akita, Japan On June 12, 1973 Sr. Agnes saw brilliant rays emanate from the tabernacle. This same thing happened on each of the next two days as well. On June 28, 1973, a cross-shaped wound appeared on the inside left hand of Sr. Agnes Sasagawa. It bled profusely, and caused her much pain. On July 6, Sr. Agnes heard a voice coming from the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the chapel where she was praying. On the same day, a few of the sisters noticed drops of blood flowing from the statues' right hand. On four occasions, this act of blood flow repeated itself. The wound in the statue's hand remained, until September 29, when it disappeared. On the same day in September, the sisters noticed that the statue had now begun to 'sweat', especially on the forehead, and neck. This statue was carved from a single block of wood from a Katsura tree, and is three feet tall. On August 3, Sr. Agnes received a second message. On October 13, she received a final third message. Two years later on January 4, 1975, the stature of the Blessed Virgin began to weep. It continued to weep at intervals for the next 6 years, and eight months. It wept on 101 occasions. The Roman Church Collapses Sr. Agnes from Our Lady of Akita October 13, 1973 The works of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confers...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priest and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. My Interpretation Along with all the turmoil in the climate, earthquakes, volcanoes, and politics, there is to be increasing friction within the Church itself. In fact, I would venture to guess, this will occur in virtually every religion around the world. Certainly, there have been some controversial issues which have come before the Catholic Church in recent years. These include; the death penalty, abortion, gay rights, and marriage of the priests, all of which have provided an escalating amount of disagreement between the Church leaders, and their congregations. What I think is important to see here, is the nature of how this could happen. In a later message, Mary will talk a little more about the nature of Satan in the body. It is not just one person, it is many. >From my own perspective, this Being is a form of energy. In a simplistic sense, He is one of Chaos. The antithesis of Reason. He could be epitomized by the image of a wild man, behaving quite insanely, doing all kinds of disgusting things, for no apparent reason. In India, this is how Shiva is sometimes portrayed. A crazy man, who has immense powers. This craziness however, always suits a higher purpose. Someone has to make the darkness, out of which the light will appear. As I see it, as the final times approach, things are going to become even crazier than normal. Reason is going to go out of the window. This is the way that the ‘darkness’ manifests. This craziness will infect the churches, governments, and the man in the street. There will be chaos in the final days, just as you would see rats, and dogs running around before an earthquake. In fact, you will probably see this too. During these times, even if you are attempting to raise your own energy, and maintain your own sanity, it will be difficult to do. Saint Malachy Born in 1094, Malachy was the first Irish Saint to be canonized. From early childhood, he was drawn to the religious, and the mystical. During his priesthood, he is credited with many healings, and was deeply involved in church reform. He is credited for restoring ecclesiastical discipline in Ireland, unifying the church there, and bringing about the use of the Roman liturgy instead of the Celtic. It is said, that he also made several lesser known predictions during his life time, including; WW I, the Russian revolution, and the day, and hour of his own death in 1148. He is best known, for his predictions written while on a pilgrimage to Rome. This writing was later found in the Vatican during the 16th century. It is a document which is considered to be his list of the future Popes. In it, he would refer to each Pope by his name, coat of arms, background, and/or personal characteristics. His list only includes two more Pontiffs. The last of which, 'Peter the Roman', will witness the final days of Rome. The Last Pope During the last persecution of the Holy Roman Church, Peter the Roman shall feed the sheep amidst great tribulations. And when these are past, The city of 7 hills shall be utterly destroyed, And the awful Judge shall judge the people. My Interpretation The lines presented here, are the last in Malachy’s list. There is one more Pope, to reign prior to Peter the Roman. Historically, most of the Popes have been elderly, and their reigns have not been more than ten years or so. One, only lasted for only a month. If this tradition continues, we could expect another two Popes to be in place for perhaps 20 more years. On the other hand, we may not have that much time. Since Malachy has not seen fit to use any dates to reference when the next two Pontiffs may emerge, we can look at his verses simply as a reference for how much time is left. Pope John Paul II is approaching his late 80’s. He is known to be suffering from more ailments as he grows older. However, he still may live to be 100. Perhaps, church traditions will change, and a younger Pope will be installed after this one. About the only thing we could say for sure is, that two more Popes after John Paul II would not reign for more than 100 years, or the year 2100. If John Paul II should pass away tomorrow, the short side of this scenario would be 2 more years or 2002. So now we have a general range for when the end is to come. |
